Hi everyone,
Here is a painting i have started a while back, but couldnt finish it due to freelance responsibilities. I have found the time last week to add the final touches, and share it this week.
The story is part of my ''Mesopotamian Tryptich'' (Assyria, Persia and Babylon), and is set in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, where political intrigue and assassinations were rampant.

''How a place of such magnificence and heavenly splendour can hoard ambition, treachery and daggers in the night. Only the vilest of mankind live long enough to enjoy the gardens beauty.''
