Wow, I love this design so much! So much great detail. I'm curious, are you aware of any evidence of female Mesopotamian scribes? I ask not because I doubt they existed, but because I love learning more about women in history and would love to hear if you did. Either way, great picture! The details of her clothes and of the tablet she's written on are exquisite!

thank you for the kind words! i can't remember finding any evidence of female scribes so the historical accuracy of this piece may be off haha. the challenge of designing a character from ancient times was the main focus with this one. i'm glad you like it!!

You're welcome I've come across your work on 3dtotal's "Sketching From The Imagination'' book and I fell in love with it immediately. Amazing how you got to work at Creative Assembly at such an early stage of your career, it definitely encourages me to work harder at my craft. Keep it up. <3
