The unreleased Starfox 2 is coming out this week with other amazing 16-bit classics such as Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past and Super Metroid on Nintendo classic mini Super Nintendo!Also I'm happy to finally be able to announce my collaboration with the book Playing with Super Power: Nintendo Super Nes Classic!!Β

I actually got myself a mini SuperNES Classic Edition. Regardless what IGN says, I think "Star Fox 2" is a pretty good game. The higher difficulty levels also have a surprising amount of new enemies, and areas to encounter.

I also think they were a bit harsh
on their Starfox 2 review, since its an old game
and all but truth be told the game chuggs a lot
so I can understand where they coming from.Β
I stillΒ haven't found time to play more of the game
unfortunely but the little I played was really fun!

Yeah, the original 2 Star Fox games could benefit from a 60fps upgrade (like in the 3DS M2 remakes of Sega's "Space Harrier," and "Out Run.") but they're still very good early 3D games, and impressive for SNES standards.
The map system, and encounter system are pretty clever.

I only did this piece with those characters
to celebrate starfox 2, so unfortunately I don't see
me doing them in a near future.
But who knows? Maybe after playing the game I'm blown away by these
2 characters and end up doing more artwork with them!

Even as of now, Miyu and Fay both have a fanabase around them just like Krystal. In fact, now that SF 2 is getting an official release, there is a good chance that they can appear in future installments of the SF series along with Krystal which is good. ^^
