I know it would take forever to render the right size in apo for this contest, but I think you should enter if you think you can get a flame the right size.

I've heard about the contest already. I'm not too sure what I'm going to enter. I shouldn't have too much difficulty rendering the required size.

Looks kind of like an image representing feedback from a sub-woofer or something like that. The color is striking, shocking even, and it really draws you into the natural depth and detail.

I am very, very impressed by this one, really nice work Joel.

You are so very welcome. The piece you did was absolutely stunning to say the least. Some day you will have to tell me how you did that! Anyway, it was my pleasure!

I might have been tempted to remove the bottom to emphasise the 'factory chimney' look, but this is a unique and groundbreaking piece

The curves juxtaposed with the straight lines make this very interesting....but I wonder what this would look like a bit less symmetrical, maybe crop the bottom vertical and horizontal lines out of the image. A wonderful piece!

Nice one, it's a shame i hadn't watched you long before now. I liked the composition of the first a bit more but this style is just amazing.

I personally like this one more then the first.
I like the curves and the gridding that flows with them.
The red is great! I like it when you deviate away from what seems like your trademark blue and white.
Kudos!

Wow, so great! There's a staggering amount of detail and the straight, straight lines all broken up are really appealing! I love the illusion of depth. Way to go with the gradient too, it really brings out the details.
