Yeah, i know all about it. It's one of the frustrating things when it comes to digitalising the artworks. There is so much detail that gets lost.

how do you have the patience to draw with such amazing detail?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JoeMacGown In reply to GuardianAngelWarrior [2009-12-24 17:13:25 +0000 UTC]

I don't have any patience, I am hyper for the most part and have to constantly be doing something.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GuardianAngelWarrior In reply to JoeMacGown [2009-12-26 06:06:32 +0000 UTC]

haha well thats awesome that you can concentrate that hyperness into the skill to draw with such detail haha wish i had your gift. how long does it usually take you to finish a full detailed piece?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JoeMacGown In reply to GuardianAngelWarrior [2009-12-26 15:39:05 +0000 UTC]

Time, it depends. This one was probably 90-100 hours. I have one that took around 300 hours, crazy...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GuardianAngelWarrior In reply to JoeMacGown [2009-12-28 05:38:15 +0000 UTC]

omg thats insane i would have procrastinated on it so badly i doubt it would ever get done. but i bet that one that took 300 hours was pretty amazing.

JoeMacGown In reply to GuardianAngelWarrior [2009-12-28 16:19:45 +0000 UTC]

haha, yeah, you have to stick with it for sure! The one I was talking about is called "Self Searching" and I have it posted here [link] Check it out, see what you think.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GuardianAngelWarrior In reply to JoeMacGown [2009-12-29 06:21:20 +0000 UTC]

wow... yeah that is definitely amazing. something i might never be able to accomplish. once i have the general idea down from my head then i procrastinate on finishing it. especially coloring. my drawings are more simple even with the small amount of detail i may put into them. but that work of art right there would take me ages to complete and id really have to want to return to it a lot. Bravo!

yeah it does. i dont have my career set just yet im still getting ready for college yay! but not yet im working at the renaissance for a bit then ill be getting another job but eh its life im glad i get that bit of inspired work in while i can.

JoeMacGown In reply to GuardianAngelWarrior [2010-01-06 03:11:42 +0000 UTC]

the key is consistency, just keep it up and then one day you will find you have done bunches of stuff! You are right, it is life, and everything in life is a an experience that may influence your art and future, making you who you will become. So, in essence, I think it is important to appreciate everything as it makes you who you are.

GuardianAngelWarrior In reply to JoeMacGown [2010-01-12 01:57:29 +0000 UTC]

i do agree with you, quite insightful as well. and i do continue to work on my art doing doodles here and there that eventually turn into interesting things, for example today in college English i drew a chimera type thing made up of horse bird wolf and dragon i guess, anyway it looks really cool i just need to ink it take it off lined paper and add a bit more detail.
