Both the cleanest and best organized Mediaeval army I've ever seen. In that sense, totally atypical. Nice artwork though.

(also, that title )

Thank you, It's really just 2 guys on horses and 6 knights. Instancing helped a lot

Andrey did a great job on making this background model, it uses a lot of instances to keep things manageable too

Thank you, I had to try to make something that matched the large scale of the environment. It felt like it was a good chance for some instancing practice.

Wow, this is so epic!! I've had in the back of my mind a scene almost exactly like this but have put it off because I thought it would take so long to do... but here you are, you have done it! And it's magnificent

Excellent scene for 'instancing practice'
One day in the far future I might attempt something similar

There's a hell of a lot happening in this picture. You actually need a higher resolution to admire all the details.
Very nice, authentic scene.

Jaw-dropping! Please tell me you used some billboards or something similar to create such an epic scene! Either that or your computer is using a prototype graphics card that can handle such an army of hundreds!

Sooo epic! I like how detailed the foreground is and how the castle is distant and misty, but still grand!

The old Dragonlance stories had the gnomes of Mount Nevermind (I think that was the name) use catapults for inner-city travel, flinging themselves into catch nets. Beats the bus any day.
