I LOVE animalscapes (one look at my gallery should convince you of that)...and the light and compo here is majestic. if the stag had looked round at you it would have been even better (but you knew that)

looking at it again after reading the DD comment I retract that...elk looking away makes perfect sense here (another example then that eye-contact isn't the be-all end-all in nature photography which includes wildlife)
