The tree looks as if it should be a lot bigger than the both (boy/robot), that's my only complaint. Superb lightning~ 3-4 hours, unbelievable!

well if the tree was bigger the bot couldnt reach it,.
so we used a stand-in tree
ow and about speed well.. this was my second drawing in half a year so

I think the texture of the tree trunk could be refined some more, and probably would be nice to lower the opacity of the little branches so they don't stick out so much from the leaves.
But hey enough of the nitpicks from me, I really like all the texture you used for this speedpaint, it brings this warm scene to life.

The kids attitude is just that a kid being a kid. I love the fact of the two elements you have in the image. Human and robot. Yet its not scary its very fun loving and very playful like. I absolutely adore it ^_^

I love how painterly your work is. I've probably said that before, but I can't say it enough.
Also, the subject matter is strangely charming. That is, a robotic creature getting a balloon for a child. Very cute.
