Rainbow Dash stayed up late finishing up her Daring Do novel, and couldn't wait to get her hooves on the next one. She flew to Twilight's library so she could ask her for the next book in the series. But she came in too fast and wound up crashing through the window and into Twilight's closet. As she was recovering, something fell on Rainbow's head. Pulling it off, she found herself holding one of Twilight's Batmare costumes, the one that has wings for some bizarre reason. She looked at the costume, and got an idea. She checked to see if anypony was around. Once she confirmed that she was alone, a big grin formed on her face...

Five minutes later, Twilight teleports into the library, having just finished a patrol in Manehattan. She pulled off her mask and turned around, about to head to her bedroom and get some sleep. But something, or more accurately, somepony caught her eye: Rainbow Dash, wearing a Batmare costume and checking herself out in the mirror.

"Heh heh... lookin' good, Dash..."
"Rainbow Dash... what are you doing in the library at this time of night, and why are you wearing one of my Batmare costumes?"
"You gotta admit, Twi... I look AWESOME in this."
"... Take it off. Now."

Just a random idea I came up with for s**ts and giggles. I like the idea of Twilight and Rainbow as a superhero duo, though I see Rainbow more as the Mysterious Mare-Do-Well. I'll be uploading the two Batmares by themselves later on today.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be trying to resist the urge to do more Batmare fan art. It's great that I've been pumping out a bunch of these in the past month, but to be honest, I think I'm going a bit overboard with it.
