Hmn.. the usual trend is to have space dimly lit. In your piece's case, it seems to work out fine, assuming that the event takes place in a nebula of some sort.
Still, shouldn't there be more.. planets or something? Hmn..
It is still a good piece. I do like how you do the clouds and how you made the asteroids/spatial deposits of sediments. Good job though overall.
And oh.. don't worry, I have trouble making it work together too so you're not alone.
