I really hope you release an artbook some day. I really, really do.

Love these robots, especially the four-armed mage 'fellow' in the middle. What I really like is how you've managed to evoke a sense of warmth in something sterile and inorganic - even though they're made of metals, I can almost feel the heat coming off whatever strange machinery powers them. Great job!

These guys remind me a lot of the cast of an 80s toyline... like, not the actual figures, but the awesome art that would be on the blister pack?Β I can just imagine being a kid again and reading the breathless descriptions of HAMMERLOCK, INSIDION and BRUTOR on the packaging, then being disappointed when the figures don't live up to the art and losing the little plastic missile that the spring-loaded pistol would shoot.

hahaha, i appreciate the comment and i totally agree with you on the disappointment you feel when you open the packaging.
The only toys of my childhood that were really awesome were the batman and jurassic park toys.
The batman toys had the same design than the animated serie and some little details were totally awesome (like the little fabric capes).
God bless bruce timm for his awesome work on the serie.
The jurassic park toys had a great sense of texture and colors that no other toys had at this time (and they also had this tiny piece of flesh that you can rip off to "wound" the creature in an epic fight!!!).
That's also part of why i love paper RPG, things take place in your imagination and everything is as great as you can think.
By working with pathfinder it's always a nice challenge and a big reward to trigger this sense of drama in the mind of the people playing the game.
The developpers always came up with awesome descriptions and the art director (Andrew Vallas) is always a nice help when it comes to improve the art.

And even when your character doesn't live up to what you imagined for them (like your melee tank eating every single attack because the monsters refuse to roll under 15), a table-full of laughing friends makes the disappointment makes it go down easier!
