Description
Pencils and Colors by me. Done the coloringvia photoshop around 1.5 hours. The line art is
almost 5- 6 hours. My primary intention on the colors
is to make it as old paper as it is used during the
Hispanic period around 15th- 18th century. This is
the same paper used by our Historical Freedom Fighters.
Well, sort of.hehehe

This is very very cool! At first glance you get this nostalgic X-men feeling, with the jet in the back and the flying woman's costume resembling the old Marvel Girl. But then you get into it and you see, through the details and poses, that each character is very much unique. Every little thing gives just a little more insight into the characters even before you know anything about them, from a scowl on a face to the way they stand or hold their weapons.
The effect works well, giving you this hint of color and depth that isn't there but doesn't need to be. It almost feels like the memory overlay of a story someone is telling, like as they talk you can see the characters coming right off the page.

lovely composition...have you tried communicating with Stan Lee? I have several good friends who works for Stan and Marvel....nice composition...a suggestion though...have you seen frank miller's graphic novels? I like it when he used the splatter effect...this will look good with it
