the most consistent thing about me is how inconsistent i am - look at that, a post from me!scanning all these took me like 45 minutes and halfway through my scanner decided to be a dick
so please excuse the haphazardness of everything i was so not in the mood to make things look pretty xD
and okay okay the first two doodles were actually done in 2014, but it was close anyway!
this year i really tried to sketchbook properly. like not care about making everything look nice and 'perfect'. it's my place to fuck up and learn :-D

and i'm fond of that sketch, too! i really tried to get an eerie feel without going for such stark and dark colours

Np! I know; I've got a lot of sketches on my Photoshop backlog from my wrist injury. Now that it's better, I'm just kinda easing myself back into Ps so that it doesn't happen again.
And yeah, it definitely does manage to convey that without dark colors, which is really cool imo. I'd be interested in seeing more experiments with color and brightness like that in the future!

haha yes it is! it was a kind of experiment though, not sure i really like it to be honest?
i'll probably think of a better pose or something and do a better one!Β
and yes the landscapes are watercolours and most of the others are acrylics! c-:
