Description The Avatar Wars project continues

Tymora is the Goddess of Good Fortune in the fictional world of Toril, in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. Ed Greenwood created Tymora for his home Dungeons & Dragons game, loosely inspired by the Greek deity Tyche.

Tymora is a sister to Beshaba, the goddess of misfortune, having been created when Tyche, the former deity of luck, was infected by Moander's evil essence, and split apart by SelΓ»ne. She is commonly revered by adventurers and others who rely on a mixture of luck and skill to achieve their goals.

During the Time of Troubles Tymora appeared to followers in Arabel and set up shop in the temple known as the Lady's House. As the entire continent quaked with magic gone wild, Tymora offered all-too-absent stability and the reassurances that some deity still cared about their human subjects. The ability to actually meet a deity (in exchange for a reasonable donation to the church, of course) bolstered faith in desperate times, and the ranks of her clergy and followers swelled accordingly.

During the adventure, Midnight meets the goddes' avatar for a brief moment, but this is enough for the deity to immediately recognize the power of Mystra hidden in Midnight's pendant.

Tymora is so often passed over! When you're all finished with this wonderful project, you should draw Tyche!

I don't like Tyche very much. I'd prefer to draw Besheba
