Riding back to Ft. Staton. We had to wear the helmets while on the trucks for safety reasons and after a few close calls with some tree branches, we were rather happy to have them on.Related content

It kind of is. The name for that camo pattern is Oak Leaf, which is kind of similar to Flecktarn.

You would be correct sir! At that event we were reenacting as the 16th Reichsfüherer SS. I have to say I am impressed at how well you pick up on camo patterns.

What? The reenactors? We only shoot blanks. The only way we are going to kill someone is if we run up and club them with our rifles. Now if you are talking about the group that we are reenacting, then yeah, the Nazis did some horrible things. However, we reenactors vehemently oppose any neo-facism, nazism, etc. as we are not representing the Nazi party, but rather the German fighting man of WWII. They just happened to be on the wrong side.
