no its because there are more female voice actors and their voices are better suited for most boy voices. Think about a male's voice: its always changing (take the voice of Fin from adventure time if you watch it) but a women's voice barely changes as she gets older (the most drastic change is probably puberty and their "golden years") which is why there are so many.

besides, most of male characters are voiced by women.

it isn't when the group aimed at is girls however when its boys who are on the receiving end it can be considered a joke. But in the end sexism is just another term for "don't favour boys over girls" that's the general gist of it. this is my opinion and in any case sexism jokes shouldn't offend. An example of this is a video on youtube called "Shit girls say".
