As usual on a trip to the north of the state, we had to visit Crystal Castle a few times. There’s always something new!
These wing-like amethyst geodes were really pretty, but the painting behind them blew me away even more so! The painter was Jacqui Hill, who also did a portion of the crystal lotus on the Buddha statue fountain that’s there as well. There should be a pic of it in my gallery, I would say.
Anyway, I just wanted to step through into the painting, say hello to the cute little pixies, get on that gondola boat thing, and visit the castle. It felt so beautiful and magical. I was lucky to see this spot so well, because it was quickly closed off again for further tile work on the ground.
Hmm, so if you’re ever in Australia, and get to northern NSW, this is definitely worth visiting! It’s not far from Byron Bay.
