Description
Some of my opinions are still the same, and some are different.NOTE: A 2nd version will probably be made, after seeing "Revenge of the Island"
DISCLAIMER:
By the way, for anyone who has spoilers for "Revenge of the Island" because they saw the French version of the episodes, DON'T SAY ANYTHING PLEASE!!! I want to be surprised, as I'm watching the season.
Favorite Characters-
Gwen: We relate so well. Be both can be loners at times (Especially at the lunch table), we both love drawing, we're both lefties (I double checked), and we both have only one person who we care about (No, I'm not referring to her and the Juvie. And for me, yes it's a girl. Although we're just best friends) . She's also very enjoyable to see. (Obviously while not being over abused by the giant bastards!)
Trent: The perfect guy for Gwen. Despite what she said in "The Very Last Episode, Really", I actually consider him one of the few sane characters in the show.
Mike: The only character on the show who has a noticeable dysfunction, and this coming from someone with Autism, I can relate. (Though I won't be saying what his dysfunction is, if you've seen his audition tape, take a good look at what's in his room...) I really hope he goes far.
Zoey: She looks and sounds sexy, (Just like CATHERINE-ZETA JONES!!) is their really anything else they can do to make me love this character even more?!? *"She's Mike's Love Interest!" appears on the screen. A bomb goes off behind me, while looking very ecstatic*
Bridgette: Love her cool down-to-earth nature, also how she's not as easily set-off.
Dawn: She cares for the Earth (Just like Gwen!), and I find nothing wrong with that, plus she sounds absolutely adorable. I hope she goes far!
Despised Characters-
Bambi: Severely obvious.
Aged Cheddar Chick: Season 1- Little annoying, Seasons 2 & 3- IAGO IN THE TIKI ROOM ANNOYING!
Al: Again, severely obvious.
Mildred: Attention Seeker + No Development = Pointless Character!
Favorite Season-
Total Drama Island: They only season where Gwen wasn't ruined by the assholes known as the writers. Plus it was very enjoyable to see her progress, and adapting to the people around her. I really wish America got the ending where she won!
Despised Seasons-
Total Drama Action: Gwent is history, and Gwen starts to become the bastard writers' over abused punching bag. Need I say more?!? Plus after she was eliminated in "The Chefshank Redemption", I found it so hard to keep focus (Which killed at least three of my attention span cells), even after Bossy McSmartypants came back in "Ocean's Eight or Nine". I will give the writers a little bit of credit for trying to make Duncney the Gwent plot of season 2, but it was so hard to take seriously when the female is right on the edge of being as annoying as Iago when he took over the Enchanted Tiki Room (Plot Success: 1%, Plot Failure: 99%, and even one percent is pushing it!). By the time "The Aftermath: IV" aired in December, I was like "THANK GOD!!!!"
Total Drama World Tour: After being on here for nearly 2 months, I've met quite alot of good people who convinced me that even though it had a few more good episodes than "Action", that doesn't excuse all the problems with it!

Most Overrated Characters-
Duncan: : "If the writers loved this guy so much that he had to stay for the whole of three seasons, then this show might as well have been titled "Total Drama Duncan". All by himself, Duncan gives a bad name to Total Drama."
Courtney: NO MORE SCREAMING PLEASE!!!!

Owen: Again, this is something that I've realized after beginning to spend my time here. Owen gets far EVERY SINGLE season, and most of the time HE DIDN'T EVEN DESERVE TO! So I now completely agree with when he said, "He so shouldn't have won TDI."
Ezekiel: :"They couldn't have wasted a character as badly as they did Zeke. It was joke that got old REALLY fast."
Most Underreated Characters-
Trent: I hate that the writers have reduced him to complete nothingness!
Tyler: I feel like besides getting beat up all the time, he has a lot of potential.
Favorite Couples-
Gwent: The "Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room" of the Total Drama world, enough said.
Zoke: A couple consisting of two of my favorite "Revenge of the Island" characters, enough said. I REALLY hope that we don't get any Gwuncan bullshit with this couple!
Despised Couple-
Gwuncan: "The Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management!" of the Total Drama world, enough said.
Favorite Song-
Come Fly with Us from "Walk Like an Egyptian-Part 1": It's really catchy!
Despised Songs-
Boyfriend Kisser from "The Ex Files": Okay we get it Courtney! You were upset about it just as much as the rest of us Gwent supporters, please shut the fuck up! I would rather listen to the horrible rendition of "Friend Like Me" from "The Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management!".
We Built Gwen's Face from "Sweden Sour": Pretty Visuals + Shameful Lyrics = Pretty Shameful!
Favorite Episodes-
Total Drama Island: Pretty much every episode is a PERFECT 10/10. (Even in some cases, 11/10s!) This is the only season worth completely re-watching over and over.
Aftermath: Bridgette Over Troubled Water: "World Tour"'s only 11/10 episode. I really liked how this episode really did make you go "How Bridgette and Geoff going to get through this one?!". Also, I like how both Geoff and Bridgette need to realize that you can hide from your problems for a while, but sooner or later you need to deal with them. Other good things, "I'm Sorry", and the fact that Gidgette is my 2nd favorite couple.
Despised Episodes:
All of Total Drama Action: Completely pointless!
Most of Total Drama World Tour: Bad, but enough good episodes make it a guilty pleasure.

Largely because of Duncan's actions, sadly. Gwen didn't bring herself to that low before his unwarranted return in TDWT.

You do have to admit she played it straight in TDI all the way, and in the first half of TDWT she was genuinely nice to Courtney and did not resort to the usual lows. Yes, she botched up things with Trent, and perhaps pushed the breakup button a tad too early, I agree. That was going too far, but at least she showed genuine remorse for it later.
Not gonna lie, I was somewhat bitter with Gwen herself when Gwuncan marched onto the scene 
Again, it's character raping. Gwen would not have sunk that low if it hadn't been Duncan who basically told her, "Screw Courtney, you're mine". He struck the first blow, and now the guilt has rubbed off on her.
I can only hope somewhere in this damn show she'll come to her senses. Duncan on the other hand.....Where's my hunting rifle when I need it?

And no good can come from this pairing. They don't have anyone holding back their more negative characteristics. They're just gonna start being dicks and pranking everyone.

NO good at all
Everybody knows Gwent and Duncney were the most popular couples. Those worked brilliantly, they had chemistry 
And to be frank, it has almost killed the series >_<
Gwen was likable before Gwuncan became official. Gwuncan has made her extremely careless with her friends' feelings. And Duncan went from being a jerk to a "Jersey Shore" asshole, right off the show's set. (No offense to New Jersey, the show's a false representation of the state, but I digress)

I'm just sorry characters like Gwen and Courtney, who are great characters had to be made to look so bad for the sake of "pointless drama". And it wasn't just them, either, other characters suffered too.

I know to some TDWT is the worst season, but for me it's TDA. At some point I couldn't even watch the episodes anymore. I just read summaries of what happened. I hated how they made everyone dicks and made Courtney, to quote TvTropes, the Designated Villain, when she was the only one playing the game competently.

Well, for me TDWT is and probably will remain the absolute worst season; unless Gwuncan is undone, it is irredeemable.
But, to the credit of your argument, TDA was a painful ride for me too. For me, it has become much more watchable given it didn't instill the anger in me World Tour does, but yeah, it was one disappointment after another for much of its run. And it was not just losing Gwen, it was losing Geoff/Bridgette/DJ/Trent, sucky challenges, some poorly-paced conflicts, useless plot elements, Justin was a wuss, and yeah, the villainy of Courtney was played up a bit much. Looking back though, I still think Courtney finally gave the second half of the series the structure it needed to save it from being a total loss. I remember liking the second half of the season a lot more, and enjoyed following Harold, Beth, Lindsay, Courtney, the whole lot 
But I haven't forgotten what a mess it really was. TDA is still a weak season compared to TDI, the absolute best season. But I'll give it credit for not fueling my anger like World Tour did.

I've heard some stuff, but I'm waiting until the premiere before I make a final judgement.
I will say this though; skip the first fifty seconds or so of the very first episode when you see it, just skip them. Just trust me on this one. You don't need the aggravation. (I poked at the first ep briefly, but I swear, I have not watched it in full)

Give Avatar some credit for not giving into the desires of one out of a million fanbases like these retards on the Total Drama crew have.

I don't hate the Zutara fanbase, they have a right to enjoy what they enjoy. But for the love of God, STOP insisting that it was the canon ship from the getco; that's the belief among the hardcore Zutarians, and they won't shut up about it
Besides, a bunch of people dedicated to forcing Katara to be with Zuko simply because they can, that's creepy.
Kudos to Bryke for not compromising their story to satisfy the unreasonable desires of a few 
Take a lesson from these two gentlemen, Teletoon. Good Lord, TAKE A LESSON FROM THEM. Gwuncan was not popular enough to excuse what happened and I can't imagine why they chose the route they did, aside from pointless drama. Somebody on this crew ought to be fired for it.

Even as I remain somewhat skeptical over Avatar: Legend of Korra, I can see that they kept the story intact
Seriously though, this one fanbase saying that Katara absolutely HAS TO be with Zuko, because why, he's sexier, stronger, more mature than Aang? Or some weirdass personal preference like that? Don't you think their ravenous pursuit of that comes off as a little creepy?
Sure Gwuncan has fans, but what is the problem with Duncan and Gwen being good friends and nothing more? Wouldn't that have been less offensive than throwing this ultra-contrived shit at us, pleasing this one small group and insulting the masses in the process of doing so? I expect better from Teletoon than this

Glad we're both agreed on that. I think most of these Gwuncan/Zutara fans might be Twilight fangirls. They followed that logic with those two, so the movie series seems to be the place for them to carry on further. Contrived romances are suddenly kosher due to the selfish desires of one or a few, regardless of how it affects everybody else.

My friend like alternate pairings, but usually defer to the main pairings. He likes Mai and Zuko for example, but also doesn't mind seeing him with Ty Lee for example.
He has similar issues with the die hard Zutara shippers.

I don't hate these, I entertain them fairly often
All those years of having Zutara pushed in our faces however when we really didn't want to indulge in it, it left a sour taste in a lot of our mouths. I refuse to indulge in a ship because the best reason they can come up with is "I should". No, I'll stick with my fanbase, thank you very much.
I like most Zutara fans and I respect the majority of them, but I'm not going to turn Zutarian because they think we should. I simply consider Zutara not as much fun as Kataang. And I'm not gonna be hung for that.
I hate Gwuncan for the same reasons why I disliked Zutara. Too contrived and following what I personally consider a faulted logic.
But give most Zutarians some credit for (Mostly) leaving us alone and existing peacefully with us. Gwuncan sucks because it was forced on us by the producers, who obviously don't know schtick about their own show and why the first season was such a huge hit >_<

I think that both "North" and "Inspector Gadget" were the inspirations for this season. Because it has "North"'s racial insensitivity and the overall stupidity of "Inspector Gadget".

I'm not sure about the racial overtones, to be honest. But this season clearly bears the stupidity that marred Inspector Gadget.
God, I did like that movie as a kid, and I still love the Youngstown theme song, but the more I look at it or the NC's review of it, the more I realize it was just crap. Never trust a commercial director with a feature-length film, especially if it's the same dumbass who directed that 90-minute commercial "Cool as Ice".
Anyway, this season was stupid, and angering. Somebody tell me what was the purpose of Gwuncan, breaking up the Gwen/Courtney friendship, having Blaineley compete, making Ezekiel a zombie, eliminating Bridgette early AGAIN.......
Somebody, tell me, WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE? This season had SO MUCH potential, what the hell happened?

I doubt Inspector Gadget was an influence in any of this, but it might as well have been; having nothing to do with its source material, wasting so many great opportunities, and overall half-assed direction.
I don't know who to blame more, them or their army of writers who literally threw this shit together. And what was there, four directors to this stupid season? Who does the blame ultimately fall to????
