Took a trip to the National Air and Space Museum a while back. I got to see lots of interesting artifacts and historical exhibits but this is the real reason I came. The original model of the USS Enterprise from "Star Trek" the original series. Such a beautiful and inspirational site to see for any trek fan.One of the best moments of my life.

For 1967 when the series started, it was a very realistic model for the time.
