Description Took a trip to the National Air and Space Museum a while back. I got to see lots of interesting artifacts and historical exhibits but this is the real reason I came. The original model of the USS Enterprise from "Star Trek" the original series. Such a beautiful and inspirational site to see for any trek fan.

One of the best moments of my life.

Thanks. I could not get a shot of the opposite side because of a support pillar blocking my shot. The random people walking in my shot also ruined some better photos.

I know. I have pictures uploaded of this Enterprise model too on Deviant Art when I went to the National Air and Space Museum last in 2010. I have a shot of the Enterprise from bellow looking up as well as other angles. Even the side that does not have all the decals painted on the other side of the Engineering hull.
