Yeah just coffee stained water color paper, brown ink washes and those brown ink microns they make. (it wasnt micron.. it was like faber castle or whatever) but you get the idea. Glad ya digs

The stained paper effect is a nice touch too. Loans some authenticity as if this was ripped from some 17th century text or something.

Glad you like it. It's hard to go wrong with pirate art. Thanks for noticing the paper.. you hit the nail on the head for part of it.. I also tried to stain it kinda splattery so you'd get that bleeding to death feel. ...you know the one.
