Yeah the ACA (or as its well known as, ObamaCare) requires that most, if not all Americans have health insurance in 2014. The fee for not having insurance is $95, or 1% of your yearly income, whichever is higher. It is honestly just cheaper to pay the fee than go with a plan for this year. However, the fee WILL go up in 2015. And believe me, that fee makes me want to vomit it is so ridiculously expensive...
I worked as a CSR for the damn Healthcare website. I think Obamacare is ridiculous and that it is true, he doesn't care for anything but what is in your wallet. Hopefully the next president is smarter and more caring of his citizens. And a bonus would be if he would toss Obamacare in the trash.
