BTW,..my statement about the marketing of endless ages was mostly based on my being alittle bitter about it going offline....depressed me for a long time and I wanted to blame someone.
I saw something that is now leading me to believe that Phylon is in some way related to endless ages which excites me to no end.

ok ok....I used to play a game a long time ago called "Endless Ages" and it claimed to be the worlds first and only "MMORPGRTFPS", which essentially it was like Halo meets world of warcraft. First person shooting with experience grinding and gear collecting and exploration....
That game was my favorite MMORPG of all time..and they failed miserably because there marketing department really had no idea what they were doing, and now you can find it at flea markets for like a dollar, very very sad.
If this game is anything like what Endless ages was I'll definitely be playing.
(Btw, I was only looking for space guns for reference for my Lightwave class in college when I found this)

looks like your freind did a pretty cool job, especially on the textures. tell him these renders would come out way cooler looking if his added some simple custom lighting with slightly colored lights. you wont believe what a difference it makes to not have that fade to black look, especially on the skin. love the proportions, rock n stuff
