Spyro the Dragon IS NOT lame. Its a Pretty Good Trilogy of games (Enter the Dragonfly and A Hero's Tail aren't as good though) Even though I prefer Crash Bandicoot over Spyro I still enjoy the series NOW than I ever did back as a kid on the PS1

and i love the Legend series too.

I kinda consider The Legend of Spyro Series as its own separate thing like Skylanders or Crash of the Titans/Mind Over Mutant. Its Certainly better than Skylanders and the aforementioned Crash games but I don't consider them as proper continuations of the Main Series because of the different play style.
