Description Ink

A friend asked me for a pen and ink drawing of Aubeterre; this was my first attempt. I hadn't done any drawing out in the real world in something like 15 years.

I sat on a wall for an hour doing this and damn near roasted. Life in the studio is so much more comfortable.

I agree, life inside is much better it is rare I enjoy the weather outside, hence I'm not too fond of drawing out of my house
Anyways, both pieces are great Thanks for sharing

Yep I think we can agree that it's better out of our heads than out of our houses

Are you very excited?

I try not to get very excited because it's bad for the digestion. I'm building myself up with health food- lots of cream cakes and chocolate.

I can understand how you take care of yourself in that respect. Cream cakes, in particular, rhyme with strawberry shortcake in my book.

"Strawberry Shortcake, blackberry pie,
I'm going to punch you in the eye."

That's a very moving piece of poetry from Uproar on Hollercat Hill.

"You're book and mine will always rhyme." That's an equally moving poem what I just wrote
