Your sculpting of these dragons is extraordinary . I looked up information on Wikipedia and some YouTube videos on digital sculpting using zBrush and Mudbox, and it looked frightfully complicated. But I shall take your word for it that it's surprisingly easy . What sculpting software did you use? Once you create the model, do you then need to use another software to paint it, animate it, and add backgrounds?

Could you possibly do a digital sculpture of your mouse warrior? I would love to see that. And one of the horse pulling the gypsy caravan from your book, "The Tortoise Fair"? That would be just grand .

Thanks for the compliment. When I said that it was surprisingly easy I was only referring to the scales. Learning how to do the other stuff is a little tricky at times (that's English understatement). I feel I am coming to grips with it though. I do intend to try the sculps with colour eventually but I haven't yet decided how o go about it. Yes backgrounds too maybe.

Having already done a "real" sculpt of my mouse warrior I'm not too keen to go back to it digitally, but maybe some-kind of variation might occur to me. The Tortoise Fair caravan is a great idea but at the speed I do these things it would be a years work. Who knows maybe I'll speed up with practice.

Some years ago I did an illustration of a princess on a unicorn (you may have noticed on my web site,) anyway that one might work.

I'm glad you like the sculpt, as you can see I haven't had much feedback on it.

Thankingyou for the faves

Regarding feedback, or a lack thereof, I think it's more likely that your regular watchers are simply tuned into paintings and drawings rather than sculptures, and it will take you some extra time to develop a similar following for your sculptures. In the meantime, if you're having fun with this new medium for creating art, that's really what counts in the long run . I think it's nice seeing you broaden your horizons; you're so talented!

And you're very welcome for the faves!
