Do all the images you are doing currently have fluffy ears/tails.?

It is my weakness. You should see my possible vectors folder. There are a lot more fluffy ears and tails waiting to be done.

I would say you and (was it Korius? Going to say Korius) Korius should join a support group but after my obsession with MGF-X and drool says I should not say anything.
Also I would not might seeing that folder some time.

Very cool! I'm working on something like this atm (a painting with no lineart). I've always painted under lineart in the past, so it's fun to try something new!

You bet! It is a little more tricky since you can't hide your coloring under the lineart, so you do have to be cleaner in that regard. It definitely gives off a unique touch that is worth the practice, though.

Hola, Sexy. I freaking love outlineless images. This is just beautiful.
It does make her left hand look wonky though, it looks like she's straight out of teenage mutant ninja turtles or something.
meh. whatever. Fav'd.

Thanks, glad you like it. I had this image for a couple months and finally remembered it and got around to doing it. I didn't think it would take as long as it did though, haha. Still worth it though. Yep, the hand looks a little weird. I can ignore it myself since it isn't the center focus of the image.

I love this, images without linework are always nice to see. When I tried it in the past, I did shapes like we normally do and throw them all under a mask to do the cutting for me.

I have grown to like some of them. I tend to prefer the lines, but there are some images that look really good without linework, like this one. I don't know what it adds to the image, but I like it in this one. I don't like the idea of making everything under one clipping mask since it breaks all my layering. Not to mention that it is infuriating when it selects the clipping mask over the shape itself, especially when nodes are on top of each other. I know I can lock the clipping mask, but then when I resize I forget that it is locked and then it doesn't get resized. The struggle is real.

I work above the mask, not in it, and then drag the shape in when I am happy with it. That way I never have the issues you described.

I should do it you way you do Nakki but I always end up doing it the dumb way of just having the shape layer order matter and do the work of hiding things and its always makes it a pain to fix errors or clipping masks.
I should also probably start using more then 3-4 layers but old habits die hard.

Ya, it makes it simple. We already do that with gmesh, oversized mesh and clipping. I just figure if I add more things in the mask I can have a complex shading without having to dick around with matching the edges.

Yeah I see what you mean, I might try doing an image with all clipping masks some time and see what I think of the process.
Gave me some stuff to think about in regards to productivity so thanks for that.
