Description Back to the Touhous.  Wanted to practice finishing cut off areas, and this one seemed to be a good candidate.

Lineart was fairly simple, even for the areas cut off.  The ribbons were half finished on screen, so I could follow the lineart most of the way.  The same applied for the hat and symbol.  The rest of the lineart was fairly standard, and I didn't even have to change thickness too much, since this image was right around the thickness I would have used.  Coloring was easy as well.  I didn't change the saturation much this time around, since the original was fairly defined.  The only differences come mainly on the white areas and some of the skin.  Otherwise, it is faithful to the original.  In total this took about 18 hours to do, split between 2 days.

Edit: Changed the shape and size of the eyes/pupils so that they matched more.
Edit2: Accidentally turned the eye shading into a gradient.
Edit3: Forgot to color a small area of the right plate on her hair.

Great improvement of the lineart over the original's. Good job on restoring the cut-off pieces too. Well done.

Thanks.  I hadn't really restored an image with this much of it cutoff, so I wanted to give it a shot.  I am glad it went well, since it allows me to do a lot more with the image than before.  I also got to practice using the ruler and making guides, which helped me learn a couple tools I had never used before.
