I'm shooting a short film on Sunday (3-11-2007) that required a lot of top down shots on to a bed. Well, about 2 weeks ago I realized that standing over the actresses while they are doing this would be impossible and/or look horrible. So I needed to build a track that would bolt to my ceiling to hold my camera. The camera needed to move side to side and back and forth. I can't take all of the credit for this, my friend Ephriam pretty much built the whole entire thing, I just helped. It's made from wood and the track from two desk drawers. It works great; it does what it's supposed to. It is kind of creepy sleeping under a camera, but I'm going to have to deal with that until Sunday. It will probably be the best shot in the whole short. I'm really looking forward to using it and seeing what it looks like.Related content

Yeah, shooting is all done. Just have to edit it now. I've already started editing...I still have the camera track hanging above my bed......I kind of like the questions that it brings up. "Is that for shooting porn?" you know, stuff like that.

makes me think of the sex scene in original sin, you know with antonio and angelina jolee, so even if its not snuff film.... it doesnt make me think like that.

It's about two women that wake up in bed together after a night of drinking and have no clue what happened the night before. Believe it or not, it's kind of a romantic comedy. And it's not a porn. In fact it's really important to me that there is no nudity in it. It'll be funny though, I promise.

sounds quite interesting... funny i was just looking for a new job in the classifies and there were all these brothels looking for girls, yucko i say, but its so nice for romance to be a consideration (and of course it should be) when ever any two people wake up ion bed together.
hey, funny you should say that about the script, i just finished a treatment for film class, but its taken in digital stills. its called 360 degrees of sepraration, a 360 degree view of someones room who owns something else that the next person in the series owns, its hard to explain and m doing a damn arty course. are you making your movie for you?

Hm, so the best part of the whole short will be a segment shot in a bed, eh? This isn't a snuff film, is it? I personally think the best part is the Fight Club poster on the wall. That bar of soap is my desktop.

Thank you.....Oddly enough 90% of the short is shot on a bed. All of it is shot in that room.
Yeah, the Fight Club poster is kind of like my little tribute to my favorite movie. I thought about taking it down but, I figured these two people are in a room, it's totally possible that a Fight Club poster could be hanging on the wall. Thank you very much, for the good luck wish. I've been working really hard on this. I'm sure I'll be able to pull off something entertaining. I have confidence in the actresses, so I know that the acting will be good.
