How much time did this piece take?

um⦠let's see; sketch was 30-60 minutes. Outlines in Illustrator about 3 hours. Coloring took another 3 hours, more or less, to get to the 'color' stage. Adding the bra and panties, and setting it up to be a poster was another couple hours.
Grand total about 10, all told, concept to final. Not counting going back through and fixing the various versions of her when I realized I'd stuck her eyebrow in the wrong spot (oy!).

Definitely takes longer to get the linework in. Using pens would take me maybe 30 to 40 minutes on an image that size. But, the easy control over the outlines, and the clean look of them, I think, make up for the time spent in illustrator.
We shall see, but I am leaning toward doing the next few illustrations in this manner, since I do so like the clean outlines.
