Here's a photo of the new Rapidstrike pre-weathered and looking like it was just delivered, hehe. I tried out tinting the jam slide a cherry red, but that will likely be changed to black before the project is all done. I also masked off strips on the clear magazine so you can still see how many darts are left and the rest of the shell is coated with bedliner for durability. I can't wait to see this finished and I hope you guys will enjoy seeing what they look like before I start the detailing work

Simple and easy to do paint mod! You can see, after your paint, that Hasbro really let the pulse rifle influence the design of this one.

I have this gun an I was thinking of getting a carbon fibre skin for it (I emailed you recently). Looking through your photos I might also want to get my retaliator and recon done, one blue camp like your alpha trooper and one like your woodland one. Can't decide on which though haha

The custom Nerf are almost 100% plastic, if that's what you mean. Β I do add fabricated elements when needed and those are usually made from MDF and plastic as well.

This must be one of the new guns nerf just released. I have yet to see any in stores though.

How is the rapid Strike? I've wanted one for a while now.

It shoots very well, similar to the stampede but with a greater distance since it's part of the Elite line. Β I don't like the spring in the long magazine though, it's not very strong and has caused some issues with loading the darts. Β I'd recommend using a different mag, but other than that it's a pretty sweet blaster

Before all of the weathering, it's cool to see just how precisely clean your work is. Every hole is filled in, every millimeter of paint sets exactly the same way. Very cool to see it all at this stage.
