Coast Guard Girl is assisted in the task of rescuing downed Streamers, and civilians, endangered by the evil forces of T.H.R.R.E.A.T.1 by an artificially intelligent Deep Ocean/Littoral Patrol High-speed INterceptor drone.D.O/L.P.H.IN. can deploy flotation devices, and even serve as a life support pod for deep sea rescue. The drone can also carry a prodigious weapons loadout of torpedoes and depth charges for undersea combat.
With its advanced AI, D.O/L.P.H.IN. can also offer tactical advice2 to is operator, which Coast Guard Girl uniformly ignores.

Also, since every branch of the service gets one, there is a Marine Corps Girl.
She doesn't have a drone, though. Just a 100mm Howitzer, modified to be carried as a rifle.
Her mission isn't rescue.
