My First Fanficby John Su
Sonic the Hedgehog ran very quickly down the hall to where the fire was coming from. While running he ducked into a rolling spin and made a sound like "@@@@@@@!" so he could dodge the fireball lasers.
At the top of the staircase he stood up and shouted at the top of the staircase "Sephiroth!" The man with long hair turned slowly and with a flash of his sword removed Sonic's nipples from his body.
"OUCH that hurts!1" cried Sonic, hurting. "Looks like I will need the power of the CHAOS CRYSTAL for this opponent!" and he raised up a handful of glowing gems.
The light from the jewels summoned all the legendary pokemon in the world together and they fused together into a Pyschic Ghost Dragon Pokemon. "LEAVE THIS TO ME, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG!" it said in the voice a thousand monsters, and shot a giant Hadouken at Sephiroth.
Sephiroth bounced it back with a spin of his blade, and it hit the Psy-Gho-Dra-Mon in the face, crashing him to the floor and half-crushing No-Nipples Sonic. "This is bad!" said Half-Dead No-Nipples the Hedgehog. "It looks like we will need to call for that man, Psyghodramon!"
"YES" he agreed, and used his 7 physic goat dragon balls to make a wish "SEND US THE CHOSEN HERO OF PROPHECY!" as Sephiroth slowly descended to finish them off.
Just then a bright light from the sky shone, and the Grand Master John Su descended from the moon on rocket powered rocket boots, with a beautiful woman on each arm. When he landed, there was a chorus and fanfare of trumpets, and he lowered his sunglasses and said "Yo."
"Who are you" said Sephiroth as he threw a ninja star at light speed at John Su. John Su turned and winked at the star, and the bright light instantly dissolved it into space dust. "Pretty good," said Sephiroth, "but your still gonna loose!" and he transformed into Super Saiyan 4 Sephiroth.
"Take this!" he screamed as he flew towards John Su. John Su flexed a single muscle, generating an awesome MANWAVE that overpowered Super Sephiroth and sent him flying into space, frozen forever in defeat.
"Thank you for saving us, John Su" said the world. "You are so strong and cool"
"I know," he replied, and jumped back up to the moon after resurrecting the 4th Hokage.

To start things off, I love your work and this piece was certainly no acceptation. The way Sonic's nipples came off so early in the fic-- why, I'd never seen any one thing on this god forsaken planet as well planned as this. I can only wonder if you yourself drew that thought provoking masterpiece at the top. If you did it only adds to your genius.
The only problem I had with it is that there wasn't enough yaoi. Everyone knows that all desu fanfics have sugoi moshi yaoi, and, like, hentai yuri no boku. Other than that this was a brilliant first piece.
(I give you a 6 for impact but DA doesn't let me go that high.)

The other day I was thinking about life, and how meaningless it is. Why do we get up every morning? Why do we go on living? What is the point? There is not point, I thought, so perhaps I should just end this meaningless life of mine.
'My First Fanfic' by John Su, has brought meaning back into my life. Upon reading this, I have tasted the sun. God has blessed my mind with the wonders of the world, with the wisdom of the apple seed.
No longer will I suffer with the dull lifeless commotion that goes on about me, everyday. Never again shall I question the existence of man, or call the upon the devil to do my bidding. When I dream, I will dream in color.
When I bleed I will be reminded of the emotions this amazing tale has stirred with in me. Passion, Sexuality, Fear, Hatred, Bowel Movement.The color of my blood will, starting at this very moment, reflect the new sense of mortality I have gained through reading this
Through this, I was transported into a completely different realm. The trees glisten with freshly fallen rain. My Jeans are ripped, my skin is showing. The night is hot, the wind is blowing. . .Where you think you're going baby?

This is a deeply intense and powerful emotional thrill-ride of a story. It literally blew my mind; I had to pick up all the little pieces of it and put them back together in my skull so I could think of how to express my awe for the story in this critique.
First of all, Sonic is purely awesome. I didn't know you invented him. Or Sephiroth. Or John Su. Those have got to be some of the most spectacular OCs I have ever witnessed. Each one of them was written well; I could get to know the characters accurately just by the dialogue. Even without supplying a backstory, you've immaculately portrayed everyone.
The action sequences were flawless. I could see everything very well in my mind. You've handpicked some choice adjectives, verbs, adverbs, and nouns that all congeal together like a good stew. Your verbiage is powerful.
All-in-all, most original fic ever. You win so hard that it's causing tectonic disruptions. Call Spielberg or Lucas and get one of them to direct the movie.

I don't even know where to begin...
This wonderful example of the written word leaves me in tears.
It starts with such energy, immediately taking the reader into the action and exploding with "@@@@@@@@@@!"
Never have I seen such a sound. So out of the box.
Unique, truly unique like the rest of the story.
The allusions and references leave a powerful postmodern sentiment, bringing in familiar faces to make it an instant classic.
But then to top it all off, a wonderful play on the "deus ex machina" when you introduce the hero.
Seemingly overpowered, an embodiment of overt masculine strength and charisma.
Until you realize the symbolism.
I can't even describe the look on my face when I realized how well you hid that.
I can't believe this is your first.
You leave me breathless.

I found this to be incredibly entertaining. I particularly enjoy the 'so bad that it is good' aspect of it. I cannot begin fathom how painful this muct have been to write. For me, it probably would have been using 'your' instead of 'you're'.
This jabs every terrible fanfic written. EVER.
Even using popular characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog, the fourth Hokage and Sephiroth.
Finally, we have the OC that is based on the writer. Always overpowered and broken. But, unlike other fanfics, this is a pretty accurate representation. I applaud you, John Su.
