((And we know nothing about Yugi's father. If the bond with the Kaiba brothers come from him, so maybe that he was the bad child of the family, that he has run away and cut any contact with his family. And like we don't know anything about him....maybe that he's dead?!))
I'm not sure if Grandpa and Yugi's mom could have raised two other children in their little house, with maybe no enough money.

well yugi does have black hair (and red and gold....how the hell does he have tricolored hair naturally? frikkin main characters and their weird hairstyles) and mokuba has black hair and we know mokuba and kaiba are related so at least one of their parents had to have had black hair and then that parent likely could have had a sibling who also had black hair and gave birth to yugi. (we do see his mom in the manga and it looks like she actually does have black hair) yugi clearly got his hair though from his gramps that's for sure.
though i wonder if they were cousins why wouldn't grandpa have taken in seto and mokuba as well as yugi? ah well, i'm sure there's a reason.

Yugi's grandfather's hair was like that before it turned gray,so we can assume his father also has similar hair. I think his mom has red hair,though,that's how she appeared in her voiceless appearances in the Duelist Kingdom episodes(she's the one with Yugi's grandfather in the hospital)

i did mention that yugi got his hair from his grandfather more then likely, but we can't assume anything about his father since his father could have taken after his mothers hair rather then gramps's hair. i don't remember that lady with him at all, but it has been a long time since i've seen that one.
