"A King's Path"-
This piece is very close to my heart. With all the changes taking place in my life right now, I feel like I have embarked on a new journey, a journey to find myself. I believe that life throws obstacles our way not to break us, but to challenge us to adjust our course, let go of old concepts we have built around ourselves and return to who we really are. At our very core we all want to belong and connect with others, but to be able to do that, we first have to learn to belong to and love ourselves. That's the hero's journey, the core of every powerful story told: the quest to find out who we are and connect to the infinite source of strength, peace and love we hold inside. While that journey may sometimes seem overwhelming and lonely, I believe someone is always watching over us, having our back - whether you call it God, the universe or your own divine soul. As long as we keep going and don't give up, I think there is no way to fail. πͺπΌ

I really love this artwork from a technical point of view, it really is wonderfully executed in terms of composition, colors, values, textures and especially light effects. But what really got to me is the message behind it, expressed both by the image and your artist statement. I can clearly see these ideas expressed through the cub's half-confident, half-naive and unprepared, pose and facial expression, while his future spirit guarding over him has a confident and serene look, expressing wisdom, patience and willpower.
For me this is an artwork with which I wholeheartedly identify, having navigated some obstacles during my life so far and especially in the last 3 years. And while I sometimes feel, and realistically am, incredibly lonely, I then find myself elevated gradually to new psychological thresholds, or spiritual, where I'm better suited to accept and enjoy everything around me despite the fact that I don't have the deep social connections I crave. So I feel I'm on my way of becoming the lioness I'm meant to be myself, just like the cub in your wonderful painting. That's why I feel it speaks to a lot of people, and I thank you for sharing it with everybody and encouraging us through its powerful message.
