Description

庆祝中国共产党成立100周年
Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China

July 1st finally came, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the  Communist Party of China (中國共產黨), the party that serves all citizens in the  People's Republic of China. The party got founded by two famous political figures: Chen Duxiu (陳獨秀) and Li Dazhao (李大釗) on July 1st, 1921, starting off as the theory based on Marxism. This was during the time when China became the republic nation under its Nationalist Kuomintang (國民黨) government. The Communist Party got into power against the Kuomintang which lead through the series of Chinese Civil War, creating tensions between the two growing political parties. Until 1949, the Communists won the Civil War, establishing the communist government in the capital of Beijing (北京) on October 1st, under the leadership of chairman Mao Zedong (毛澤東). He led through the times of modernizing the nation under his communist ideology, making successful developments, but went under some governance problems such as Great Leap Forward (大躍進) in 1958 and Cultural Revolution (文化大革命) in 1966 that turned the country into chaos. After Chairman Mao's death in 1976, the next leader Deng Xiaoping (鄧小平) came in power, reforming the government under capitalist society and maintaining communist system. It also opened its nation to the world, resulting different countries making relationships with China. After 100 years, China eventually continues to develop its communism in the future, encouraging all future citizens to "listen to the Party's words, and follow the Party"! (聽黨話、跟黨走!), according to the current president, Xi Jinping (習近平).

Therefore, this year marks the 100th year of the successful developments by the Communist Party, as President Xi awarded some well-known contributors to protect and safeguard the party. Some museums dedicated to the party had also opened to the public to get its citizens educated on its history and how to obey the party's rules.

So, here is the drawing of my Chinese OCs with one original Chinese cartoon character saluting to their beloved party. There, it includes: Ga-Kwok  (Edmonton Ng; 伍嘉國), Han-Zong the Red Panda  (吳漢宗), Black Cat Detective (黑貓警長), and the People's Liberation Army Air Force commander in the region of  Hong Kong General Manchester Chung  (鍾啟治). All of them are current permanent members of the Communist Party. (Among them, Black Cat Detective is actually the original character of a Chinese animation series that first produced in the 1980s and is popular throughout the future by Chinese children.)

Salute to our motherland's comrades! 向咱們祖國同志致敬!
