It's January 28th of 2022. Here I will be welcoming my watchers' creative characters participants to enter the capital city of Beijing (北京), in the People's Republic of China. There, it will officially host the 2022 Winter Olympics, which will open at February 4th and close at February 20th. So, all participants must stay there for those amount of days!

So, here is my creative character Ga-Kwok (Edmonton) guiding the participants towards the Olympic Village, where the participants will stay there for resting after competing in their winter sports. Because of the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, all participants must be expected to follow the safety procedures to remain hygiene, especially wearing masks for example. Most importantly, they'll definitely need to do the test on COVID-19 to make sure they all tested negative upon entering the Olympics. Plus, because of the security concerns, the Olympic Committees advised them to use the prepaid (burner) phones and communicate for their time in China, and leave their personal electronics (such as smartphones and laptops) at their location.

During the days of the Winter Olympics, I'll be posting some journals about a specific winter sport to mention the participants in to compete each other. But, because I cannot arrange the winter sports games for real, I'll instead be hosting few games online. But, there'll be a scene where I decide a winner! If anyone wins, then he/she will earn one drawing. There'll also be few or more winners in one drawing as well. So, please be anticipated!

Based on the real information, there are 91 nations / territories that are participating in the games. Plus, Beijing is the first city to host both the Summer and Winter Olympics, as it first hosted it's Summer Olympics since the year of 2008, making full successful developments in Chinese history. For the other information about this Winter Olympics, the official mascot is Bing Dwen Dwen (冰墩墩), who is a giant panda that represents the true spirit of the Olympics with the whole world. Therefore, his name has the specific and interesting meanings: the Chinese character "Bing" (冰), which means ice, means that he is suggesting purity and strength, and "Dwen Dwen" (墩墩), which is a Chinese dialectal term meaning child, means that he is suggesting robust, lively, and also children. His astronaut-like uniform implies that the Winter Olympics embraces new technologies and create possibilities in China and around the world. The official slogan is "Yī qǐ xiàng wèi lái" (一起向未来), which means Together for a Shared Future, states that "the power of the Games will overcome global challenges as a community".

Pretty soon, I'll submit several drawings of creative character participants marching in to the national stadium with their national flag being carried on their hand (at the same times). So, please DO be notified on that! I'll be mentioning your creative character's name and your usernames in one drawing, so that you can show your pride and spirits. (Notice that according to the tradition, the originator of the Olympics Greece will march in first, and China will march in last.)
