Description
In December 2010, IGN commissioned me to submit two drawings two be featured in their "Hyrule's Most Wanted" feature - a celebration of the LoZ franchise showcasing the series' most infamous villains. They told me which ones to do, (this and the Dead Hand), and the project went live in April 2011. I was honored to be a part of the project.Ocarina of Time is really a work of art. The Legend of Zelda games are the only videogames I play anymore (aside from occasional random N64 stuff for nostalgic purposes...), and in my opinion, the series collectively the greatest work fiction ever
This was completed with Copic Markers and multiliners.

that one could look at to convey the emotions of seeing these guys in Hyrule town for the first time.

I was 8 years old when I first played this, and I was so scared as well! I had to have my uncle get outΒ of the Market SquareΒ for me.Β I'll never forget that sense of fear and I channeled that into the process of creating this piece. As time wears on, I'm not as happy with the final product, and there's so many things I'd like to change... But it is what it is.

Thank you! When I was a kid, I absolutely dreaded these things - so I tried to recreate that creepy vibe the most realistic way I could
