Background:

Sinter’Klaas, or just Sinter, is one of the children of an important figure of the Atlasian Military. Under strict upbringing, the men of the Bruma family are raised to be soldiers, much like their father, and the ones before him. The rigid parenting made his brothers rough and disciplined fighters, but not Sinter. Since young he had always been a sweet, soft-spoken and well behaved, much to his father’s distaste, and proffered playing with his sisters or helping their mother with his younger siblings. The years went by and no matter what his father did to him, Sinter did not change into the person his father wanted him to be. But his father never gave up.
From his perspective, Sinter was a failure and an embarrassment among his friends and family. His grades in all Combat-related classes were passable in the most and no grounding, scolding or punishment seemed to work on the kid. In a final attempt to break the boy, the man used his influence to have Sinter transferred to Vacuo’s Huntsmen Academy, known for being the harshest among all kingdoms due its environment and conditions. Sending Siner away should shape the boy into a real soldier and, if not, at least he wouldn’t be around to disgrace the Bruma name any longer.
Not exactly happy to be separated from his family, but thanking the opportunity to get away from the negativity and humiliation, Sinter traveled to the arid kingdom in order to finish his Hunting education. Hunting was never his first option for a career, but due Combat being a mandatory class in the best schools of Atlas on top of his family’s tradition, Sinter wasn’t really given an option. Although the prospect of protecting the people against the darkness of the world had its shine to it, even with all the violence attached to it.
Once graduated, Sinter plans to leave his household’s toxic environment and live on his own, far away from his father’s expectations. In his first year he was assigned a team with three other boys and, thankfully, was not assigned leadership.
Personality:
Whatever threat or intimidation one might feel when faced with Sinter’s massive body quickly melts away the moment he opens his mouth. Sinter is gentle and kind, heavily contrasting his brothers, and was constantly mocked for it back at home. He can be considered to be very feminine, having “girly” interests, like baking, sewing, gardening and such. His unusual taste got him in most of his family’s bad-side, but he gets along swimmingly with his younger siblings and mother, who he loves very much.
Despite the bullying from his father and brother’s part, Sinter was never ashamed of his hobbies and does his best to keep himself composed when faced with negative reactions. His weight is also something he has no issues with. He is overweight but is comfortable with his body, since it does not get in his way during combat.
Semblance: “Crystallize”
Sinter possesses the unique ability of solidifying his Aura into a crystalline carapace, covering his body into an “exoskeleton” of sorts. The crystallized aura has a defensive power greater to what it would have in its natural form, therefore consuming less Aura in order to endure more damage. The downside of this extra protection is the weight of the crystal on top of the boy’s massive weapon, hindering his movement.
Sinter may cover certain parts of his body, or completely armor himself in crystal at a time, but the Aura consumption scales with size and density.
Fighting Style:
Sinter fights with “Rudolf”, a massive Cannon/Hammer hybrid. In Cannon form, Rudolf can fire exploding projectiles from large distances, but its limited by its ammo. The weapon can carry 16 rounds and Sinter has extra 8 in his gear for reloading. In long drawn-out battles, Rudolf can transform in a large two-handed hammer, allowing Sinter to crush enemy defenses with slow, but powerful blows.
