Issues with Cynthia's identityThere is a particular topic that we hoped not to bring back again, but it seems that we have to, in the end: the Cynthia/Skye argument.
We've told many times that Cynthia is not Skye and Skye is not Cynthia.
Cynthia Walker is an arctic vixen, an original character who has been created by aoimotionβ and later designed by rem289. She has no connection with the Zootopia universe whatsoever.
βSkyeβ is the name with which a vixen in Zootopia artbook has been called by the fandom because the very name is written on the bucket she is sitting on. She hasn't been created by anyone, nor is there an official profile of her (since she doesn't belong to anyone, it follows she doesn't have a background).
With time, many people gave this figure their own interpretation. Some artists even drew her as an arctic vixen (which she obviously isn't; everything about her, from fur color to anatomy doesn't match that. Not sure if Skye inspired Cynthia, though I lean towards doubt.
