Do you just draw these in photoshop, or do you use some kind of diagram software?

I just draw it, though I don't use photoshop. I'm currently using a free vector graphics editing program called Inkscape. It's similar to Illustrator, but not quite as powerful, though the fact that it's free certainly helps.

Thanks. I'm trying to go for a more realistic approach this time around. There is some definite influences from the Venture Star in Avatar, at least in terms of the general style and function of the ship.
