This is just something I started out doing for IRON, but halfway through it sort of turned in my head to something I'd do if I were allowed to do Red Sonja. No chain mail bikini I'm afraid, as that's not really my style......and the wonderful Gail Simone liked this on Twitter... yikes.

Hello! I'm new but, I love this piece of work. It's got a simple nature but, complex details. Somewhere along the lines of hyper detailed. Like a mixture of simple and hyper detailed. It's awesome!Β

Thank you! My instinct has always been to aim for hyper realistic (and fail), but recently I've been trying to mix that with some looser lines, and this was one of the first pieces where I think that started to work. Detail sort of following the viewers focus if you like...

Thanks! The chain mail bikini always bugged me - same for Conan's loincloth really - so it was just something fun to play with.

Don't know that one I'm afraid. I wish I'd done a better job on her hair now - it was supposed to sort of bleed into the light from above, but didn't work at all. Still, no chainmail bikini but still looks pretty hot I think
