The Shield attacks Kane! So after this past Raw it looks like The Shield are going to be staying together a little while longer and it looks like they are officially ‘Faces’ after Powerbombing Kane and I’m totally cool with that! I love the dynamic between the three and the matches they’ve been having so I don’t mind them staying a trio for a while longer. Besides I don’t think there’s room for them as single stars on the roster at the moment. This Monday Night Draw I thought it would be fun to draw The Shield standing over Kane in a different slightly more realistic, anime-ish, kind of style. I also tried using a thinner line while inking to see what I could come up with. I’m really happy with the results. One of the things I really love about doing the Monday Night Draws is that they allow me the chance to experiment and try new things with my art. It will be interesting to see what part all that will play in influencing future works.Related content

Ah, anime-style. So that's why it looks like there's something new with this. And judging from what I see here, it looks like Roman Reigns is the one who looks most intimidating with the anime style.
It's great that you get to experiment here in Monday Night Draw while still having a lot of fun. I guess that's just part of its benefits.
You have a point in saying that The Shield wouldn't probably have a place as single stars at the moment. Sure, they're all talented, but it would be risky for them to split with the likes of Bray Wyatt and Cesaro emerging in the spotlight. Or if I would recall what was said in another website, the fact that there's going to be a Triple Threat main event at WM XXX makes it necessary for The Shield not to split and have their own triple threat match.

Yeah, it helps me trying out new things so I can grow as a artist and apply it to my comics somehow. Can't wait to start post up some comic pages again.
Exactly! I'm interested to see what happens. Maybe Kane puts them in a triple threat out of angry. If that does happen I hope that they still stay cool with each other and stay a team a little longer.

I am very happy to see that The Shield are turning face, if nothing else it should be an interesting run. My only wonder is how well these three can pull off being a Face group. We already know how good they are at being Heels...can they be believable Faces?
