Whilst sparsely populated by comparison to the other eleven colonies, with a population a little over two million, it has become the center of the Colonial judicial world. The great courthouses of Themis try all cases covered by inter-colonial law, and have a reputation of fierce independence and impartiality. Aspiring legal experts from all across the Cryannus system study at the numerous law schools and are often viewed as the foremost experts in their field. Colonial judiciaries of every colony prize the graduates for their renown skills at getting to the truth of a case, with many eventually being tapped for colonial high and supreme court seats."

What started as an exercise in space-scape making became a bigger concept - artwork of the Twelve Colonies before the Cylon invasion. Hopefully I'll do the remaining eleven colonies, but best laid plans and all that...

The base of the planet and moons were created using Space Engine, then heavily manipulated in Photoshop. Nebular stock thanks to the amazing Ali Reis.
