Wow - a piece of painting by me for me. A very rare occurence!A bit of a fantasy standard - red dragon vs adventurers. Can't beat the classics, eh?
This one was really painted to be printed rather large, so the characters can't really be seen in all their glory on screen, sadly.
Sketched in Photoshop very quickly, painted rather more slowly in Painter.

A wonderful sense of desolation and one nasty dragon. I remember scenes like this in D&D. About this time everyone's thinking, "It might have been a better idea to have crept up in the night."

I'm kinda some kind of old guy in terms of digital or traditional art. It's still hard to me to fully understand that such great art is digital.

I used to have a notebook from TSR that had a printed painting on its cover back in the early eighties ... (wish I still had it!) ... this piece immediately made me think of it - which means, THANKS! - GREAT JOB!!!

LOVE the title of this one! Beautifully drawn and painted. It amazes me that this was all digitally done. Your talent certainly dazzles.
I keep looking at this again and again because somehow you've pulled off a very dark moody feel without sacrificing one iota of light. It's really quite brilliant.

God, I forgot to comment right didn't I? I don't really know why but I always look at the backgrounds I loved it! Especially the watchpost at the back. It's "clean" (that's the most close adjective compatible with my idea...) and smooth. The lighting is really beautiful. (Or it is to my eye.) I really liked the most-seen texture you used on the sky. The mood given by the colours is perfect for the place. I'd like to go there. I prefer with the dragon. 
...Wow, I'm not a good commenter but I got chatty a lot. I think that has given me another emotion for the piece.
