Will you be posting them soon? I would to see more of this place! What camera(s) do you use?

JonnyGoodboy In reply to Pepelepewissexier [2008-03-04 00:14:50 +0000 UTC]

I took around 80 shots so hopefully some will make the cut
Haven`t had chance to check them yet though as I took another 150 only this afternoon in this quaint small Georgian town close to me,plus I have over 200 from my trip to Mid-Wales last Wednesday...gotta lot of sorting to do

My Camera btw is:
Traveler Digi-Cam »»» [link]
10.1MP
6 x Optical Zoom

Cost me £150,good value for money cam

MG: That's a lot to go through... I understand though about making the cut... I take several rolls of 24 exposure film and maybe two out of each roll is what I really consider worth sharing... My goal is to get it down to a real skill and start taking such great shots the first time around that I will get about 15 of the 24 exposures as sharable... High goal, but I know I can do it... I just have to practice and keep learning

That`s what it`s all about It`s a never ending learning curve and there`s always new places and fresh ideas to practice to keep this wonderful hobby or ours interesting

It amazes me when I look through photo books at the local bookstore and see all the deviations here at the amazing diversity, quantity, styles, etc... that photography encompasses!!! Subjects and opportunities are endless... One of the appealing things about photography, I think...

Absolutely..I friggin love this Hobby!
Wish I got serious about it earlier in my life to be honest...but fortunately,it`s a hobby that you can enjoy and improve on at any age,so there`s always time!

:whew: Glad to hear there's time... cause each second that ticks away gives me one more gray hair... lol... I actually fell in with photography back in college (ice age) and then I had kids, raised them, still am raising them, but somewhere along the line my life just got too busy for photography (If you can imagine such a tragedy) and then something Wonderful happened.... My oldest asked for a camera for Christmas and BOOM it all came back to me... The passion, the desire, the NEED to photograph everything around me... Now she and I both see the world in a whole different way... We see everything as a photo and are always talking about how we could capture something, how we can change it, expose it... etc... It is like new life!!! Best thing that's happened to me in a while..

lol... Yep, today alone I must have hollered at my husband to stop along the road 100 times... I'd see something and say, "Babe, stop... stop... go back, hurry" lol... It's a good thing he loves me or else I would have walked home today!!! He would just calmly pull over, turn around, let me jump out to take a photo, and then just shake his head as I jumped back in the car thanking him profusely for stopping and for putting up with my crazyness... lol

I was like that the other day.
I travelled 180 miles to historic Shakespeare country Stratford-Upon-Avon and I could have pulled over every few miles and took some great Landscape shots, but was limited by being on a fast Motorway or nowhere to park at the time
Nevermind
