I want to improve on painting landscapes, so in addition to portrait studies, I'm forcing myself to do landscape studies, as well. This is the first in a series I did a little while ago. I wasn't focusing too much on detail, but rather color. The water could use a little more work...Image resource from: [link]

You're welcome. The absence of detail is actually a good thing here, since too much could make the image seem cluttered.
