I've been waiting to put this up for a while. Remember those sort of individual drawings of the cast of twenty talismans and their animal friends. I now gave them a special page for them.
I liked to call them animal friends because pets sounded like "animal slave" and besides most of them can talk or are very intelligent, almost like human and can even express human emotions. They also age diffrently. The animals of the twenty talismans world are very special (half of the animal population that is and some particalar types) Years ago their ancestors got the gift of speech, human intelligence, emotions, some got all of these traits some got a few or just one and they got those gifts from the immortals)

Anyway let me introduce you the animal friends of the guys with a short description.

1.white owl (The one with catlike ears) this is Alvis, Max Vulpan's animal friend. He also literally wise as an owl, since he can talk and all and he talks with a British accent. I got the name Alvis from the old Norse Language meaning "all wise"

2.small red dragon (with the purple mane) this is Jval, Paul Gato's dragon friend. I sort of modeled him after Mushu (from Mulan) since he is a red dragon too. He is a breed of "miniature" dragons that only grow up as big as a tiger, and most dragons are bigger than that. He can't really talk he talks in telepathy. For his name Jval I got it from a Sanskrit word meaning "red" or "fire"

3. brownish goldish falcon (the one next to the dragon) this is the falcon friend of Gary Stevens and his name is Falk which is Yiddish for falcon. He is one of these intelligent animals that can't talk. He can't do telepathy or anything but Gary understands what he thinks. He has this special gifts to share his sight with Gary when he flies. Basically Gary can see what Falk can see.

4. White lion (under the dragon and owl) this is Tau Marcus Labrane's best friend with a mane and four paws. He can talk and is very loyal to his two legged friend with a tail. He is like a brother to him only that they are not related and he is a lion that roars. Tau's name means "lion" in African (Tswana and Sesotho dialects)

5. Pegasus (the one next to the lion) this is Silver, Tyler Lander's friend. The two go in daily rides together. He is the silent type since he can't talk but he has inttelligence. I called him silver cause he's silverish

6. Minature blue sea serpent (blue creature in last row) this is Blu, he is a small breed of minature blue serpents, and like Jval he he is quiet small when he grows bigger. He is Damien Drak's animal friend. He can talk but it makes him tired to speak up. So he communicates through hisses which only Damien himself can understand (since he is a weredragon) I named hi blue for the colour

7. the fox (the one next to sea serpent) This is Terry (after the famous runner Terry Fox) he is Marshal Jone's fox friend
and familiar. He can talk and pretty much a big mouth, he has a Brooklyn accent New Yorkish

8. golden dog (behind the fox) This guy's name is Topaz (after the jewel) He is Jason's best friend (speaking of which he is a dog and boy's best friend) he is extremely friendly like most dogs except that he can talk. He is also very carring

9. black wolf (next to dog) I'm sure you remember her this is Shadow, Black Heart's best friend. When Black Heart was living with the immortal Fauna and a wolf family he became best friends with Shadow and they used to call each other brother and sister. and she can talk

10. Tiger (next to wolf) This big kitty is Prowler Raymond Labrane's animal friend. He is a young tiger that is like a kitten in a tiger's body he is like a little kid sometimes just like Raymond.

Anyway that is all. I'll soon come up with the girls' animal friends...
