This started as a copic drawing, but because the background looked bland white, I added some patterns.

I drew them up on photoshop and overlaid a lot of shapes and brush marks to create a textured feel.

The fillies look terrific in their staple but very well made costumes, though I guess Sweetie's may not count so much if it's just her natural form. Then again, if it is the biological Sweetie Belle then it must have been a tremendous amount of work to both keep from looking too much like a storm trooper and keeping Rarity from encrusting it with jewels. Their attitudes and poses bring a lot of life to it too, especially the dynamic feeling as Apple Bloom trots gaily and Sweetie prepares to give Scootadeath a minor plotburn.

Sweetie is technically in a costume. Normally, she's superficially indistinguishable from a biological pony. Surprisingly easy to forget, even if for a moment, that she's a robot.
