Awesome artwork. :-D

Pearl: (to herself) Okay, after all the times Mighty Mouse has saved ME, now I have to do my best to help HIM. I just have to keep him from hurting anybody until that Red Limburgerite Harry got him with wears off.

(OOC: I just made the Red Limburgerite stuff up, but I figured it would be a good analogue to Red Kryptonite [which, traditionally, has unpredictable, but temporary, effects on Superman] and a logical explanation for the transformation)

(Very good idea)

Three hours later, Pearl and Mighty are still playing jumping rope.

Pearl *moving the rope* Now, Mighty, one more time. *Mighty laughs like a big kid and does* Good thing he's like a big baby.

Pearl: (silent thoughts) And it's also a good thing Harry is already back behind bars thanks to how scared he got of Mighty Mouse's mutated form and the Mouseville police being as alert as they are.

Harry *in prison* Argh. Why that red stuff couldn't make Mighty powerless, or change him into glass or something?

( here's a repeat of my most recent response to this in case you missed it )

(elsewhere, Pearl and Mighty Mouse manage to get through most of the day without an innocent-endangering incident. Then, finally, the Red Limburgerite wears off)

Mighty Mouse: Whoa. My head.

Pearl: All you right?

Mighty Mouse: Aside from a residual headache, yeah. I'm just glad that stuff usually only lasts twenty-four hours or less.

Nice shade of gamma green, Jose_Ramiro.

I recall that Bruce Banner, TRYING to get rid of the Hulk curse, first split him off from him creating a mindless murdering monster and then some time latter, finding himself getting weaker as his incomplete molecules began to break down.

The same thing was happening to the mindless Hulk who was finally after hundreds of murders and total destruction of towns was getting too weak to even stand up. The two HAD to be remerged. The fusion was flawed: Hulk (now intelligent) and Banner fought for control and even became Siamese Twins. Once the two fell into the bio-bath and Ricky Jones with them, the Hulk became grey, intelligent and a WISE GUY ! Thus the situation was until the GREEN Hulk began to reappear, and now it was a THREE-way battle between the 3 persona in one body !

Heh, yeah, I remember that. Doc Samson had tried to fuse the three personas in a better way; the Gray Hulk's sarcasm with the Green one's power, and Bruce's morals and smarts.

He also worried about a fourth persona: a totally animalistic, yelling, screaming hate-filled ,NON-sentient Hulk. It took a YEAR for that to wear off, for language & reason to return !

Whoa... that Hulk must be almost unstoppable.

Yes, Jose-Ramiro, he was almost beyond stopping. He smashed his way ,screaming and bellowing, across NYC in endless rage at his own very existence, with Bruce Banner's persona DEAD. Gamma rays could no longer effect a temporary remission for there was no longer a Bruce Banner for him to change back into. After the other super-heroes were defeated by him, it finally fell to Doctor Strange to cast a spell that banished Hulk to another dimension where he could not harm anybody or come to harm, where he could rage animal-like all he wanted....

It was a year before he returned, the Bruce Banner aspect restored, to be split apart physically and again become a raging mindless howling beast of murder and destruction , bereft of language and reason ! It becomes rather complex, but we finally get THREE aspects that Doc Samson has to merge into one.

I remember now... I have a comic with that pure rage Hulk; in that dimension, he found Nightmare, a Dr Strange's enemy, and since he was the only real thing he could destroy, Hulk started chasing him all the time. Nightmare had to summon Spiderman -sensing, by reading Hulk's memories, that he had faced the Green Goliath in the past and survived- so the Webhead could save him from Hulk.

I recall that brouhaha as well. Nightmare finally reached the very END of his Ditkoverse -which looked like Bergen Street in Brooklyn (where my grandmother once lived) except everything ended abruptly in a white wall. Nightmare explained to Spiderman that this was the border bet the realm of Nightmare (where everybody comes at some point or another in his or her life to be "entertained" by Nightmare) and the realm of - Insanity ! It was there -in Insanity- that Nightmare hoped to lure and trap the Hulk.

With Spiderman's help Nightmare DID trap the Hulk -and then stated his intention of KEEPING Spiderman in his dimension forever. So focused he was on preventing Spiderman's escape that he didn't see Hulk's arm reach back through the border -and grab Nightmare. This time Spiderman did NOT help Nightmare...

(Continued from Mighty vs. Mike). I do NOT know whether Mighty can be affected by the same chunk of Red Limburgerite twice, or whether it can affect him again (mayhaps with a randomly different effect).

If it SPLIT off an evil, powerless but Limbergite-immune Mike to give Mighty grief & woe, THAT would be an alternate explanation. But you firmly established that it was a Mike from an alternate reality. (Well, I used the same plot device, with EVIL CASPER and EVIL WENDY).
